Flic Message Button is a service that allows you to send text messages (SMS) to one or more phone numbers.

For the operation of this service, we need to store the recipient's phone number and message.

If the option to include location is enabled, this information will be processed but not stored.

This service uses Twilio as a service provider to deliver the text messages. Twilio's privacy policy can be found here.

We do not:

• Use your data for advertising or analytics
• Send you unsolicited messages
• Share your data with third parties for marketing or profiling

2. What Data We Collect

We may collect the following data when you use our service:

3. What Data We Process

If you enable the option to include your location, your location at the time of pressing the button will be forwarded as part of the SMS message through Twilio. Your location is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after the message is sent.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with Twilio, Inc., a third-party SMS provider, which processes SMS content and delivery on our behalf. Twilio complies with GDPR and implements appropriate safeguards. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on your consent, which you provide when using the Flic Message Button service. In some cases, processing may also be necessary for the performance of a contract with you.

6. Data Retention Period

We retain your phone number and message content only as long as necessary to provide the service and deliver your SMS. Location data, if included, is processed in real-time and not stored.
